Description:
Scatter Creek is a wildlife viewing area managed by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife. The parking lot is very large, flat, and open. The southern horizon is very open, as is the sky in general here. I don't think there are any flood lights here, but I could have missed them. The official site is at: http://wdfw.wa.gov/lands/r6scattr.htm The site does require a Vehicle Use Permit.Site Amenities:
There is a one-person privy in the parking lot. I don't know if it is locked at night or not. There is no running water available. I didn't try my cell phone here, but I would expect it to work.Photos:
